Start With a Physical Color Reference

Digital images are useful for initial communication but should not be the only approval reference. Screens display colors differently according to brightness, calibration and device settings. Photographs are also affected by camera processing and surrounding light.

Once the sample is approved, production teams should record the material code, supplier batch, coating formula, gloss level and approval date. Incoming materials are compared with the master sample before cutting or assembly.
